Minä olen tekemassa madallusjouset.
Auto on 156 ja Mäntsälässä. Voisin tulla Hkiin tai Lahteen.

Voisiko joku olla hommin neuvoja?
Tämä on minun ensinmainen kertaa vaihtaa jouset itse.

jouset on tilatu ja tulee kohta.

ps: puhun englantia mutta suomeakin vähän!

Alfa 156 springs are quite hard to change, you will need some special tools to do it.

Surely it can be done, but if you dont have any experience I would advice you to take your car in to service. I guess it would cost about 150-200€

I have same opinion as Epezi, if you dont have experince, i would suggest that you turn to someone who is capable of doing such a work.

Are you by the way doing only springs? no dampers? you'll need spring compressor to change springs on front axle if you deside to leave stock dampers.

after changing springs you need to check wheels toe- and camber angle.

You will need spring compressors anyway to open spring damper package safely, also you will need special tool to open upper arms balljoint. In rear suspension there is about 20 cm long bolt that can be stuck very hard.

^and they probably are. I had the job done in a shop and paid by hours. The guy spent 30 minutes working in the front end and 3 hours in the back. So 150 - 200 euros is a good estimate.

Or maybe you can negotiate a fixed price somewhere.

IMO, do it on a service... I changed the springs in my 147 in F40@Nokia... it did cost about 180e. Not bad for not losing my and couple of my friends' minds.
